2015 Top 40 Under 40: By the Numbers

What makes someone a Top 40? These stats show that there are many ways to achieve success.

From the range of industries they work in, to the paths they've taken to achieve their successes, the Top 40 Under 40 Class of 2015 is a diverse group. But most of them would probably agree that, without a few key characteristics — hard work, perseverance, ingenuity, strong support — they wouldn't be where they are today. Those qualities can be found all over their personal stories and are ones anybody can strive to embody.

Of course, there are many other elements that also link and differentiate this year's class, and we've compiled a few of those here. Ultimately, they prove that success can come from a variety of backgrounds, ages and sleep preferences.
