Burning Bee pizza from 4th Spot Kitchen & Bar
As far as anyone should be concerned, every day is an opportunity for a pizza day. This is especially true over the next week or so. YYC Pizza Week takes place from September 26 to October 5 and dozens of restaurants are creating signature pizzas to put on their menu for a limited time.
Proceeds from the sale of these particular pizzas will go to Meals on Wheels, which should give you extra incentive to eat pizza everyday.
There are plenty of classic pies on offer that have been elevated so they are worthy of this most important week. Double Zero Pizza is offering a seven cheese blend with honeyed lemon. Posto is going with mortadella, balsamic onions and pistachios. And, Una Pizza + Wine puts Italian sausage, caciocavallo cheese, fresh basil and grana padano cheese on its signature pizza. But, there are also pizzas that push the boundaries of what you might think a pizza is or take you to a place that might not be your regular pizza joint. Here are 11 to consider trying.
