Celebrate Thanksgiving in Banff this year

Picture this: Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings set on the table, your family and friends by your side, and gorgeous mountain views out of the window. It’s the picture perfect Thanksgiving holiday.

You can make this scenario this year’s Thanksgiving reality by taking advantages of great dinner deals at these five Banff restaurants.

Chinook Restaurant

Thanksgiving food shouldn’t only be enjoyed at dinnertime. On October 12, Banff Park Lodge’s Chinook Restaurant is hosting a Thanksgiving brunch. In addition to usual breakfast items, including an omelette station, you’ll find turkey with all the trimmings and seasonal desserts. The Thanksgiving brunch costs $31 per adult.

The lodge also offers a three-course dinner on October 11 and 12 if you’re craving turkey a second time.

Evergreen Restaurant

Enjoy traditional Thanksgiving foods with a spin. On October 11 and 12, Evergreen Restaurant is offering a set menu for $60. Enjoy lobster bisque, pan fried goat cheese terrine or Scandinavian gravlax to start, followed by roast turkey or pork loin and end the meal with Indian spiced hot apple tart or pumpkin and cream cheese parfait.

Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel

On Sunday, October 12, the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is hosting a festive buffet in their Bow Valley Grill. Watch the sun set over the Fairholme Mountain Range while dining on roast turkey. $59 per adult, resort casual attire.

Enjoy Thanksgiving family-style at the Juniper Bistro’s Long Table event. On October 13, dine with all your close friends (and meet some new ones too) while enjoying special, seasonal dishes. Save room for the spiced pumpkin pecan bread budding.
