Where to Eat Easter Brunch in Calgary

The Easter long weekend is almost here, so make your brunch reservations now.

This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 21. The only thing better than spending time with family over Easter is spending some of that time enjoying a delicious brunch together. Plan to visit one of these local restaurants on Easter Sunday (or over the Easter weekend, depending where you go) to create some new memories over brunch.

 

Bow Valley Ranche Restaurant

This year, celebrate Easter with brunch, afternoon tea or dinner at Bow Valley Ranche. The restaurant is offering an Easter menu on Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21 that features Belgian waffles, cheese platters, steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, vegan Ruben sandwiches, vegetarian frittatas and more. Finish off your meal with some banana bread or a cupcake.

Calgary Zoo

The Calgary Zoo holds a Safari Sunday Brunch every week for most of the year. But on Easter Sunday, there will be a special Easter brunch menu available. Guests can expect a Belgian waffle bar, a chef-attended omelet station, eggs Benedict, carved ham and more. And make sure you don’t skip dessert, as there will be a chocolate fountain, pastries, cakes, white chocolate and wild berry bread pudding and a sundae station.

Cost: Easter brunch tickets are $44.95 for adults, $41.95 for seniors and $26.95 for children.

Craft Beer Market

Bring the whole family to one of Craft Beer Market’s two Calgary locations for an Easter brunch buffet. The brunch runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the downtown location and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southcentre Mall location. Reservations are available to ensure your spot.

Cost: $28.95 for adults and $10.95 for children who are younger than 12.

Fort Calgary

This year, spend Easter Sunday exploring Fort Calgary, then take a break to enjoy a tasty meal at one of the three Easter brunch seatings being offered on April 21. The brunch will feature pancakes, eggs Benedict, bacon, cheese and meat platters, a pasta station and a custom omelet station.

Cost: $45 for adults, $19 for children ages four to 10, free for children three and under. Price includes brunch and museum admission.

Heritage Park Historical Village

Add some history to your Easter brunch by dining at the Wainwright Hotel in Heritage Park. The Easter Sunday brunch buffet menu includes dishes like cinnamon brioche French toast, breakfast sausages, cedar plank salmon, hot cross buns and more. The meat carving and custom omelet stations are sure to be popular options too, not to mention the build-your-own Caesar and mimosa bar.

Heritage Park is also hosting Easter Teas in the afternoon over the Easter weekend, where you can snack on petit finger sandwiches and baked goods such as mini hot cross buns, butter tarts, buttermilk scones and berries.

When: Easter brunch on Sunday, April 21. The Easter Teas run from April 19 to 22.

Cost: The Easter brunch is $36.95 for adults and $24.95 for children between the ages of 3 to 11. The Easter Teas are $29.95 for adults and $20.95 for children younger than 12.

Oxbow

Located in the Hotel Arts Kensington, Oxbow is celebrating Easter with a memorable brunch buffet. Get ready to fill up on lemon meringue pancakes, doughnut holes filled with pastry cream, barbecue jerk chicken drumsticks, eggs Benedict and French toast served with fruit compote.
