Mini Golf at Century Casino Offers Endless Ways to Play

This mini golf and bowling centre will thrill families and adults alike.

The holiday season may be over, but spending bonding time with your family is timeless. This year, load up the car and bring everyone out to Mini Golf and Bowling at Century for an afternoon or evening of non-stop fun.

The entertainment centre has plenty of all-ages offerings: 18-hole mini golf course, 30 lanes of 10-pin bowling, arcade games, classic competition games such as foosball, air hockey, and ping pong, private party rooms and a selection of grab and go snacks, in addition to casual fare such as pizzas and burgers from the casino’s Mid City Grill restaurant. While it is a family-friendly space, Mini Golf and Bowling at Century is fully licensed — so feel free to crack open a beer or grab a cocktail, hi-ball, or shooter.

The 18-hole mini golf course takes players through three distinct themes, which are reflected in the course and on its brightly painted walls. Two different tee markers give players the option of playing at two difficulties: blue is for beginners, yellow for a more challenging game. Every night at 4 p.m. the lights shut off, to be replaced with black light and roving strobe lights; guests will have to track their vivid, glowing balls as they navigate the challenge and fun of glow mini golf.

On the far south side, horses and jockeys adorn the wall, a shout-out to Century Casino’s sister property in Balzac: Century Downs Racetrack and Casino. Both venues focus on providing families with unique, affordable entertainment options. In fact, general manager Janette Ryan says being able to give families a place where they can come to create great memories and have valuable experiences is a core focus for the entertainment centre.

With that focus in mind, starting in January families will be able to cash in on a family night mini golf deal every Monday. Kids and adults can play a round for $4 per person, and there will be pizzas on special.

After finishing the course, golfers can turn in their clubs and head to the other side of the room, which is filled with arcade games and classic competition games. There’s sure to be something for everyone. Grab the wheel of a race car and run your opponents off the track; fend off the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park; shoot basketball hoops or try your hand at skee-ball, Whack n’ Win, The Launch Pad, Down the Clown or the skill crane. Turn in your tickets for sweet prizes at the redemption centre. Those itching for competition games can choose from ping pong, air hockey, or foosball. There are no prizes here — unless bragging rights count.

If you’re looking to book a party, Mini Golf at Century offers private party rooms for rent. Packages include one round of mini golf, one hour of bowling, or both, in addition to food and beverage. Catering options are available for larger bookings and corporate parties.
