The Complete List of New Foods at Calgary Stampede 2017. Vote for Your Favourite

There are 40 new foods coming to the Stampede Midway this year. We’ve plotted them all on an overly simplified, easy-to-use matrix to help you decide which to try first.

The 2017 Calgary Stampede might not begin for weeks, but now is the time to start planning. Especially when there are 40 new Midway foods to try and you only have 10 ten days for sampling.

We think all 40 of the new foods are worth trying. There are the safe, traditional foods that you know will be tasty and satisfying. (Like the chicken sandwich or the chicken and waffles.) There are trendy foods, like the Unicorn White Hot Chocolate and rolled ice cream. And then, of course, there are weird and wonderful foods that you will probably never find any place else, ever. Like chicken feet on a stick. Really.

We divided up all 40 new foods to show which foods we think are a little more traditional or a little more usual, and which foods we think are easily worth all the calories and which you might want to share rather than keep to yourself.

Hover your mouse over each dish to learn a little more about it.
