These days, yoga festivals aren’t just about yoga, offering fitness activities such as group runs, cooking and nutrition workshops, guided meditation, social gatherings and marketplaces. Here are four to check out in 2018.

 

Prana Yoga Festival

Where: Calgary, Alta. 

Single-day event series with dates in April, September and November 2018.

Banff Yoga Festival

Where: Banff, Alta.

The third year for this festival, which makes the most of its stunning setting, takes place June 1 to 3, 2018.

Wanderlust

Where: Whistler, B.C.

Tickets go on sale this month for this epic gathering now in its seventh year. It takes place August 2 to 5, 2018.,

Bloom Festival

Where: Edmonton, Alta. 

This festival is September 29 to Sept. 30, 2018, followed by a “Mini Bloom Tour” in October with events in Calgary, Banff, Kelowna and Vancouver.
