Requirements for Formatted Pages

* Production is included for formatted pages pending the material supplied by the client is supplied in the proper format.

* Note: Artwork deadlines for formatted pages are prior to those shown on this rate card, please contact your rep for details

• layout is predetermined for all group pages, a maximum of 25 words, address and contact information, a logo and one image scan are included in the layout (depending on group page chosen.)

• the image supplied must match image space proportionally, no excess photo manipulation work is included.

• logos must be supplied in a digital format in one of the programs listed below or as a black & white PMT.

• 3 proofs will be provided, any further changes requested will be billed to the client at the standard hourly rate.

* any excess production required will be invoiced at 10% of the ad space cost; including but not limited to disc and file conversions, photo manipulation, logo scanning and excess changes.

Production Specifications

• Line screen: 150 lpi. Images must be at least 300 dpi at full usage size for print.

• Colour ads must be CMYK format. RGB images will print incorrectly.

• Ads must be supplied by the client must be Macintosh Illustrator eps format, with all fonts converted to curves and all images and/or graphics support files embedded in your file or a PhotoShop TIFF file. All supplied ads must be accompanied by a colour accurate hard copy of the ad (with marks if applicable) , RedPoint will assume no responsibility for any errors if a hard copy is not supplied.

• Images and graphics should not use any form of compression, including (but not limited to) JPEG, LZW compression, etc.

• E-mailed files should be sent in self-extracting Stuff-it format (.sea) or .ZIP to avenue.ads@redpointmedia.ca.

• Production charges will be billed at 10% of the ad space cost, scanning charges not included.

Should there be any questions, complications or if an extension for material deadline is required for disk ready material, please contact the Production Manager at 240-9055 Ext: 258, to help avoid extra charges to the client.
