Venture through the last century with San Francisco’s renowned Tosca Café, whose performers use song and dance to carry the audience from the time of Prohibition all the way to the Internet age.

Peril in Paris

Lunchbox Theatre

This musical looks at a talented songstress who has been lured into living in Paris by a shady character and a young prairie boy who puts his life on the line to rescue her from danger.

Adapted from Governor General Award-winner Miriam Toews’ novel of the same name, this story looks at Lucy, a single mother on welfare, and her best friend, Lish, who leave rainy Winnipeg in a battered van to set out on an adventure to find true love.

A Behanding In Spokane

Ground Zero Theatre

This darkly comedic play from acclaimed playwright Martin McDonagh follows a man who lost his hand on a quest to find his missing appendage and get revenge on those responsible for his “behanding.”

Moby Dick

Calgary Opera

American composer Jake Heggie takes Herman Melville’s classic novel to the stage in this classic story about a captain seeking to exact revenge on the infamous white whale who destroyed his ship and took his leg.

Two Oxford students, Wyndham and Charles, become obsessed with committing the perfect murder to prove their superior intellect to themselves.
