Calgary's Best Neighbourhoods 2010: The Data

Since publishing our Best Places to Live story in our August 2010 issue we've had some questions about how we reached our decisions. We wanted to share with all of our interested readers the final rankings for each of the 12 criteria outlined in our Best Neighbourhoods survey.

This PDF chart also contains the rankings of the 19 additional neighbourhoods that were in the statistical analysis but did not make the Top 15.Why didn't we include them in the magazine? Well to be totally honest, we just didn't have room.

Based on readers' response to our survey questions each neighbourhood was given an indexed score out of 100 and a rank out of 34 for each criteria category. Our survey partner Leger Marketing then used these scores and rankings to come up with an overall ranking for the 34 neighbourhoods.
