Patisserie du Soleil
It’s a bakery, a coffee shop, a fine breakfast-lunch-and-early dinner cafe and a great community meeting spot.

Great atmosphere, great food and an impressive drink list are must haves when it comes to lounging around. Here are some of the citiy's finest as chosen in the 2008 Avenue Food Issue.

My Favorite Lounge

In the past ten years there has been a explosion of lounges in downtown Calgary but in my mind one has remained the measuring stick for all other.."The Belvedere". Still in a class all its own.

The Belvedere remains one of my favorite lounges in Calgary. It has a timeless elegance to it and is always warm and inviting for and cold Calgary night.

I think that the Tapas and atmosphere at Jaro Blue on 17th Avenue are great.
