Patisserie du Soleil
It’s a bakery, a coffee shop, a fine breakfast-lunch-and-early dinner cafe and a great community meeting spot.

Singer/songwriter Anita Athavale began playing guitar and writing songs when she was 16, because, as she puts it, “I had some things I wanted to express.”
The Windsor, Ontario, native continues her own personal evolution of expression on her second full-length album, In the Noise.
Recorded at Calgary’s Sundae Sound Studio and co-produced by Athavale and former ChixDiggit drummer, Dave Alcock, the album has a fuller, rockier sound than her 2002 debut album, The First Time, thanks in part to having a full band augment her strong songwriting.
Athavale has been busy of late, not only playing a showcase performance at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles, but also taking part in Junofest last month.
