Q: Why is it important for your group to put together Tonic each year?

A: The Tonic Gala provides us with an opportunity to help local charities that we feel are making a strong contribution toward families in need in Calgary. We have assisted three charities in the past three years — the Highbanks Society, Brown Bagging For Calgary Kids and Alberta Kids Cancer — our committee just loves the notion of working together to make a difference.” — Matthew Hillhouse, chair of Tonic For A Cause
