Every Calgarian has had their fair share of dry skin days and has likely tried every product under the sun to combat this irritating aspect of living in such a climate. Thankfully there are no shortage of products to try.
One of the newest ones on the block is Fruits & Passion Nourishing Dry Oil for body and hair ($14). Promised to replenish the skin and go on smoothly and easily to nourish, soothe and soften, this light spray certainly goes on easily. A few quick spritzs and a quick rub to spread it around on the legs is all you need. The silky film left behind does penetrate the skin quickly and after weeks of use I haven't noticed any stains on my clothes. The result is a smooth legs and pleasant scent.
As this product can also be used for your hair as well, one spritz is all I need to cover my very short hair. It adds just the right amount of texture and sheen to look natural and as a spray it's light enough that it doesn't weigh your hair down nor does it leave a build up.
This silicone free oil is so far great for the summer - the Calgary dry weather cynic in me hesitates to give any sort of prediction come winter. Thankfully this product will last me until winter as less is certainly more with this product.
