Patisserie du Soleil
It’s a bakery, a coffee shop, a fine breakfast-lunch-and-early dinner cafe and a great community meeting spot.
It is with heavy hearts that we received the news today that Lincoln Phillip passed away suddenly last Friday.
As a freelance fashion stylist and writer, Phillip was a contributor to Avenue, lending his classic, impeccable taste to the pages of the magazine with a relaxed ease that belied his disciplined professionalism. His dashing presence and elegant style also made him an obvious finalist for Avenue's Best Dressed contest in April 2009.
Phillip's gentle manner, easy laugh and commanding presence will be greatly missed by those of us who had the pleasure to work with him.
And as a tribute to Lincoln, who helped Calgary become the fashionable city it is now, we thought we'd share some of the amazing work he had done for us in the past, as both a writer and a stylist.
