Hot Water Music- Sled Island, Olympic Plaza

As I crawled around in front of the barrier taking photos of Florida punk quartet Hot Water Music something dawned on me. I could hear of chorus of the lyrics coming from be hind me. What is a bizarre echo effect? Things do get pretty loud up there. No it was the first few rows of the crowd belting it out along with the band.

 Sing it folks.

And I guess that is the beauty of a festival like Sled Island, it is large enough to bring in some pretty big acts from a number of different music scenes and if you are a fan, you certainly have the chance to get right up to the front and see someone you love and sing along to every song.

A tight, energetic set from a punk band that looks the part.

And this photo I just wanted to make the security guard feel special too.
