I pile so many different products on my face that sometimes I don’t always know how well they work individually. What I do know is I’ve been using Prevage Anti-Aging Formula by Elizabeth Arden every day for the past two months and have noticed a definite improvement in my skin’s radiance, clarity and tone. The key ingredient of this much-hyped product is Idebenone, a topical antioxidant that has been demonstrated to protect the skin against stressors like the sun, pollution, cigarette smoke and free radicals, and repair the damage already done by these evil agents of premature aging.
The science behind the effectiveness of antioxidants for treating the visible signs of aging seems pretty sound, and my personal experience with Prevage (and other antioxidants especially Retin-A and vitamin c-based products) has been proof-positive. I’d go so far as to say that if you’re in your 30s and you’re committed to preserving and protecting you skin, then this family of products is a must.
