Patisserie du Soleil
It’s a bakery, a coffee shop, a fine breakfast-lunch-and-early dinner cafe and a great community meeting spot.
Being a bit of a commitment-phobe, the idea of being attached to something for the rest of my days gives me a rash. But if I had to choose a life partner, it would be Frederic Fekkai's Glossing Shampoo and Conditioner.
The way it makes my hair feel - silky, shiny and weightlessly smooth - it's enough to make me want to never look at another shampoo and conditioner again.
It's fragrance is fresh but subtle (who needs a fruit salad on their head?) and though not cheap, I think it's worth it, especially for anyone who flat irons their hair. Formulated with olive oil extract, the shampoo lathers up nicely and gives hair gloss and shine. The conditioner leaves hair silky and easy to comb through. It's probably not the best choice for someone with very fine hair or hair that's prone to greasiness, but for normal to thick hair it's a great choice. $28 each at Sephora. (sephora.com)
