Artfirm Gallery is pleased to announce the upcoming solo exhibition by Tina Martel: flatline. Carrying over a similar affinity for the grandeur and subtlety of landscape, as seen in her Pocket Apocalypse series, Tina Martel's latest work embraces a bolder use of color, adding magnitude to her themes of spirituality, personal experience and narrative. Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Tina earned her BFA and MFA in Calgary (ACAD and the University of Calgary, respectively). She has exhibited across Canada and internationally in New York, Omaha, Germany and Tel Aviv.

What a wonderfully written piece that compliments the art shown. I was able to see the art at the showing and the director, Donna Cheyz(?) is a lovely, very knowledgable collector and shower. Well done.
