I’ve been going to the Stampede since: I was four years old.
My favourite Stampede memory is: This is a hard one – so many memories over the years. I have to say I have an annual tradition on the second Saturday. I meet up with my girlfriends for lunch at Earls on 4th, we walk over to the rodeo and then head out on the town to dance to live music. It’s always a blast!
These days, my typical Stampede includes: Catching up with friends. You run into so many people at the events going on all over the city.
My favourite Stampede attraction is: Love all the live music acts that come into town.
My favourite Stampede food is: I have to have one corn dog each year at Stampede time!
My favourite Stampede outfit is: I wish I could still rock the hat with a whistle! Sadly, this trend doesn’t carry over to adulthood. Now, I love wearing a dress and jean jacket.
Three things I recommend doing at the Stampede are: The rodeo, putting on a pair of boots to do some dancing, and catching the fireworks.
One thing you should definitely avoid is: Treating people disrespectfully. The Stampede should be fun for everyone.
