Patios Where You Can Get Pitchers

If you are going to commit to spending time on a patio, you might as well get a pitcher of your favourite drink. It is better for sharing and more efficient all around.

Anejo

You can get any of Anejo’s 10 margarita flavours in an 18 ounce jug, or half jug (9 ounces) if you are scaling back. Strawberry rhubarb, cucumber cilantro and chili coconut are all good choices. And you can never go wrong with the classic.

Charbar

The rooftop patio at Charbar has its own dedicated bar and it favours drinks in pitchers. The cocktail program was designed by Christopher Cho who used to work at Charcut before moving to Saskatoon and Ayden Kitchen & Bar so you can’t go wrong with any drink you choose.

Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

The Country Hills location has a patio. It also has a handful of drinks that come in pitcher-size. They include Limoncello Lemonade spiked with lemoncello and gin, Italian Greyhound with Cinzano, and Italian Spritz with prosecco and Aperol. You can also get pitchers of Old Fashioneds here.

Laurier Lounge

The patio on this French restaurant is perfect for a pitcher of its Pink Sun. That cocktail is a combination of grapefruit, sparkling wine and black currant liquor. Or get pitchers of sangria or mojito.

Ox & Angela

The patio is small, but the cocktails are mighty at this 17th Avenue S.W. restaurant. You have two pitcher options. Andalusian Hound with wyborowa vodka, grapefruit juice, all spice liqueur, lime juice and simple syrup. Or, the Sangria Roja, which is quite possibly the best sangria in the city.

Poolside by Hotel Arts

This poolside patio serves menu items from Yellow Door Bistro by day and Raw Bar by night. That includes its made-to-order punch bowls. The ultimate is the French 75 for $140 that includes a bottle of Veuve Cliquot Champagne, lemon juice and sugar. There are also pitchers of three types of sangria, celery Pimms cup, rose Aperol spritzer and pineapple mojito.
