You may be most familiar with Doughlicious’s pita pies and Mediterranean baked goods, but on Fridays and Saturdays after 11 a.m., you can also experience the restaurant’s barbecue menu. Along with items like smoked brisket and skewers, you can get wraps in three flavours: shish tawook (grilled chicken, fries, coleslaw and garlic sauce), beef kafta (ground beef, tomatoes, pickles, parsley, onions and tahini) or batata (fries, coleslaw and garlic sauce). And of course, they all come wrapped in one of Doughlicious’ famous pitas. Try to dine in so you can experience Doughlicious’s newly expanded space.

There’s a new doughnut destination in northeast Calgary. Sweet Rice specializes in mochi doughnuts and you can now get them in flavours like strawberry sprinkle, ube coconut, mango float and maple dip at its new storefront. And if you like doughnut holes, consider adding a box of the black sesame mochi bites to your order, too.
