This event at the Hanger Museum (formerly the Aero Space Museum of Calgary) is great for dad's that are aviation lovers, history buffs or car enthusiasts and is a perfect trip for families. On June 16 and 17 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., dads get in free with an accompanying paid admission.

Bring your dad by on Father’s Day weekend to see the museum’s collection of historical planes and other aviation crafts as well as a collection of classic cars from local car clubs and enthusiasts. Make sure to arrive early to secure a ticket for a helicopter ride from LR Helicopters and Nav Canada! There will also be a catering company on site for the event, in case anyone gets hungry.

 

Father’s Day Beertail Mixology Class at Eau Claire Distillery

Bring your dad down to Eau Claire Distillery, Alberta’s local farm to glass distiller of premium spirits, for their Father's Day taste testing and mixology class. This event offers a tasting of Eau Claire’s premium spirits and a unique mixology demonstration by their Tasting Room Manager and Resident Mixologist, Chelsey Coulson, on how to make amazing beer cocktails.

The Father’s Day Beertail Mixology Class is on June 17 and runs from 2 to 4 p.m. Make sure to reserve a spot in advance and arrange reliable transportation for this wonderfully boozy event.

Receive training from a skilled axe coach and compete head to head with your dad on Father’s Day at Axe Throwing Calgary. This fun and competitive activity is a great way to bond with your dad while also learning a new skill. 

Axe Throwing Canada provides everything you need for a great Father’s Day activity: axes, prizes, food and even liquor.
