University of Calgary’s Calgary Distinguished Writers Program welcomes Gene Luen Yang for a talk and Q&A on March 11. Luen Yang is the author and writer behind American Born Chinese, Boxers & Saints, and the Avatar: the Last Airbender comics, and his talk will explore the making of comics and graphic novels. A Q&A will follow with moderation by Bart Beaty, professor of advanced studies in comics at the University of Calgary.
