Anthropocene: The Human Epoch

September 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

One of the most talked about documentaries of the last few years is screening for free as part the Energy and Scale Conference held by the University of Calgary’s Institute for the Humanities. The film took four years to complete and follows scientists as they examine the extent and impact of human interference with the natural environment. The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Maria Michails (multi-disciplinary artist), Dr. Cora Voyageur (professor of sociology), Chris Turner (journalist and writer), and Terrance Houle (interdisciplinary media artist).
