This new show by Calgary Opera and the Old Trouts Puppet Workshop is making its international debut at the Banff Centre before heading for a run of show in Calgary. Based on an ancient Greek tale and with a modern twist, Ghost Opera is the story of a philosopher who buys a house that ends up being haunted — by a ghost who is subversively portrayed as the story’s hero. Be among the first to watch puppets and opera singing collide in a supernatural setting.
