GlobalFest Human Rights Forum

September 25 @ 7:15 am

$50

GlobalFest and the United Nations Association of Canada-Calgary Branch’s annual Human Rights Forum returns this year with the theme of “Breaking the Cycle of Hate.” The event will begin with a breakfast and keynote speech at Calgary Downtown Delta Hotel by Daryl Davis, an African American activist who rose to fame for building relationships and converting members of the Ku Klux Klan. Following breakfast, a panel will be held at the Calgary Central Public Library at 9:15 a.m., including former members and victims of hate-based organizations.

Each event requires separate pre-registration and ticket purchase.
