The Province of Alberta has asked for the immediate cancellation of events of more than 15 people and all public recreation facilities, private entertainment facilities, bars and nightclubs are closed. For all gatherings, attendees must space themselves at least two metres apart at all times.

The University of Calgary’s Indigenous Strategy (ii’ taa’poh’to’p) will feature Dr. Esther Tailfeathers at this edition of its Indigenous Knowledge Public Lecture Series. Dr. Tailfeathers is the medical lead for the Population, Public and Indigenous Health Strategic Clinical Network at Alberta Health Services and has worked in Indigenous communities throughout her career. Her lecture is free and open to the public, attendees are just asked to RSVP in advance.
