Indigenous Knowledge Public Lecture Series: Xakiji (Chief) Lee Crowchild

The University of Calgary’s Indigenous Strategy (ii’ taa’poh’to’p) second entry in its 2019-20 Indigenous Knowledge Public Lecture Series will host an address from Xakiji Lee Crowchild, a third generation Xakiji who has instructed at universities, worked in many capacities and positions within Tsuut’ina and served on boards of directors. He will speak on “the changing landscape on and around the Tsuu’tina Nation west of Calgary, and his approach to municipal partnerships on large-scale land development projects.” This event is free and open to the public.
