|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until February 16, 2019

$16 – $21

In January 1928 Ruth Snyder became the second woman in American history to die by execution in the electric chair. This story of the roaring ’20s, a housewife in desperation and the increase of mechanization in society is the foundation for the MFA thesis of Zachary McKendrick. This expressionist play will deal less with the tabloid sensation of the crimes and resultant punishment, giving the viewer the chance to consider the larger factors surrounding the circumstances.
