All is not what it seems in the classroom of the enigmatic Ms. Brodie. The rebellious teacher eschews the strict societal norms of 1930s Edinburgh and teaches subjects like Italian art, unconventional romance and Fascism to her students, especially a group of favourites dubbed the the “Brodie set.” What follows is a dramatic tale of manipulation and the threshold between adolescence and adulthood.
