The Fashion Forward YYC fundraiser in support of HomeFront will be a star-studded fashion affair. Holt Renfrew will host a fashion show directed by Kelly Streit of Mode Models, hit-making musician (and Calgary native) Kiesza will perform and an appearance by Heartland's Michelle Morgan. Funds raised at the event will help support HomeFront's efforts to eliminate domestic violence through direct client services, justice coordination and facilitated community action. This year's Woman's Show will feature over 300 exhibits, two stages with non-stop entertainment, guest speaker events and live music. The exhibits range from local and national fashion retailers to health and wellness experts to food and wine booths, among many others. The Little Vegan Market is taking place over the course of two Saturdays in November at the Marda Loop Communities Association with a record number of vendors. In terms of shopping, expect food (for both humans and pets), clothing and cosmetics, plus information booths for local animal rescues and other causes. This annual fundraiser for Making Changes Association is a fashion show and shopping experience that showcases the best of the city's style. Emcees The Style Guys will guide the evening's festivities which include a fashion show (with clothing from local boutiques as well as Making Changes’ Walk-In Closet and My Best Friend’s Closet programs) live entertainment, pop-up shops and a silent auction.
