The Calgary Stampede void is being filled this month at Boogie’s Burgers with its mini doughnut milkshake that is available through the month of July. Pair it with one of the restaurant’s mouth-watering burgers like the pizza burger or the buffalo chicken burger. Both the Marda Loop and Renfrew locations are open for curbside pickup and Marda Loop is now open for dine-in with limited seating.

On Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, check out Con Mi Taco, a pop-up taco shop located inside Meat & Bread. While you can’t dine-in, you can order online and pick up one of several taco kits to take home and put together yourself. The ingredients are fresh, the meat is already cooked and the tortillas are hand-pressed and made-to-order. We recommend the beef birria, an authentic shredded beef-style taco we haven’t seen on many other menus across Calgary. Pre-orders go live on the website Sundays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

Inglewood’s historic Deane House dining room and patio are open again and the restaurant also has a new wine list. Taste some new vino under the summer sun Wednesday through Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. when the sommelier’s selection of bottles are half-price. A late-afternoon rosé in the garden sounds pretty great.

The Calgary Stampede isn’t happening right now, but luckily Calgary has its fair share of delicious barbecue to be devoured at spots like The Palomino. It’s open right now for curbside pickup and the restaurant and patio open July 9 (email info@thepalomino.ca to book a reservation). Order the Kansas City pork ribs and extra napkins.

Yenny Delights opened back in February and serves Nigerian and Caribbean cuisine. The fried plantains strike the perfect balance between indulgent and good-for-you food and the takeout box is also great to bring to a socially distanced picnic for just $6.50. Yenny Delights is open for dine-in or delivery through DoorDash.
