The Golden Skybridge Summer Concert series starts this month, offering the perfect way to unwind after your high altitude adventures. During the month of July, check out Canadian acts like Kailee Duggan with Oh November and the LowDown Brass Band with Jumping Rodents. During the concert, you’ll also get to shop at a night market packed with local vendors. All Golden Skybridge tickets come with concert access, though you can get tickets just for the concerts as well.

Hosted by the Pine Tree Players, the 2026 Canmore Summer Theatre Festival kicks off this month with two classic plays. KanFest, the Kananaskis Whitewater Festival, brings a weekend of excitement with water events, races and even a party. Improve your skills in KanFest’s many classes, including “How to Paddle a Half Slice” and “Intro to Freestyle.” Participation in water events requires an Alberta Whitewater membership, but there are non-paddler passes available if you’d prefer to stay dry and enjoy the Saturday night party and pancake breakfasts.

Any list of the best Canadian snack foods ought to include Hawkins Cheezies, and right now, the Carter-Ryan Gallery and Live Theatre is celebrating this crunchy snack with a new, original musical called The Cheezie Musical: The Unofficial Underdog Story of the Snack That United a Nation. The play explores the history of the beloved snack and how it became an icon. The play was created by Bridget Ryan, one of the owners and operators of the Carter-Ryan Gallery and Live Theatre.
