Avenue Calgary's 2018 Dinner Series

Six Months. Six Restaurants. Six Experiences.




 

Each year in March, Avenue announces its list of Calgary's Best Restaurants as a way to celebrate our city's culinary scene. Hand-picking from this list, we create a series of dinners where Avenue readers can enjoy the finest dining experiences in the city. This year, we will host an exclusive multi-course dinner at six of the 25 Best Restaurants. 

So far in the series, we have dined at Foreign Concept and Deane House. The next dinner takes place at Charbar, June 26 where we will be dining on in-house dry-aged porterhouse beef and spiced dark chocolate pudding. See the full menu and get your tickets below.

First Course

Ceviche Negro

Shrimp, clams, squid, tuna, mussel, onion, sorghum, cascabel, cilantro, recado negro tigers milk.

 

Second Course

Grilled Italian radicchio salad

Italian radicchio, fior de latte, sherry reduction, pistachio, olive oil.

 

Third Course

Ultra dry-aged porterhouse

Charcoal roasted beets, asparagus.

 

Fourth Course

Spiced dark chocolate pudding

 Popped caramel grains.
