How would you describe your personal style?
“Being First Nations is really important to me, so I always make sure that I put it through that lens. I look at what’s happening trend-wise in fashion, and then I see how I can blend it to make it me.”
What do you want your style choices to say about you?
“I always want to feel like this is an extension of my personality, that this is how I show up in a space.”

What advice would you give to someone who wants to cultivate their own style?
“I’m obsessed with the concept of the ‘new new.’ It has to feel fresh. I understand the concept of collective history and pop culture history, and you need to know where you are in relation to all that to make it your own.”
What is your favourite piece that you own?
“My mom made me these moccasins. They’re deer skin, and had minimal beadwork [initially], and then she decided to gift me with fully beading them. The leather distressed over time, so they look very cool, like a product of time.”
