6 Patios That Take Reservations

Book ahead at these patios so you won't have to wait in line when the weather is fine.

Azuridge.

The problem with dining outside on a warm evening is that everyone else has the same idea. Luckily, a good number of patio-endowed restaurants take reservations for their outdoor spaces. Here are six great spots that allow you to call ahead so you won't be on the inside looking out.

Azuridge

If you're going to leave the city and drive all the way out to Priddis to have dinner on the west-facing patio at this swanky boutique hotel and event facility, you should probably reserve a table (and maybe a room if you're planning on finishing the meal with a scotch... or two).

Balo Vietnamese

It's somewhat rare for Vietnamese pho restaurants to offer patio seating, so if you want your satay with a side of sunshine, best make a reservation at this popular spot in the Beltline.

Chef's Table

With its view of downtown and the Bow River, the patio of this fine-dining restaurant at the Kensington Riverside Inn is one of those places you'd take someone you want to impress. Don't drop the ball by not making reservations.

Molly Malone's

Roof-top patio space is often at a premium, but if you call ahead and reserve a few spots atop this classic Irish pub, you'll be the toast of your friends (and likely the recipient of a few free rounds).

Nick's Steakhouse and Pizza

This charmingly old-school restaurant is located directly across from McMahon Stadium, so on nights that the Stamps are playing, a steak on the patio is practically tailgating. Reserve a table in advance to avoid having to wait in line with the Rider Nation dimwits.

Sunterra Keynote

This sprawling patio above the artisan grocer's Beltline location is an ideal lunch spot for a group of co-workers. Impress the boss (and the cute guy in marketing) by being the one who thinks to reserve a table in advance.
