If you take a stroll through the housewares section of Hudson’s Bay at Chinook Centre, you’ll notice a sleek new addition tucked beside the vast array of pots and pans: a full-fledged Nespresso boutique. This is good news for Nespresso devotees who have to order their pods regularly. Now you can pick up a sleeve or two every time you stop by the mall.
The 629-square-foot in-store boutique features four sales desks and a tasting area where you can sample any of the Swiss company’s many coffees, which range from mild to intense.
You can also check out the two types of brewing systems offered by the company – the OriginalLine, which focuses on short and long shots of espresso, and the VertuoLine, which brews both shots of espresso and full-sized cups of coffee. Both systems feature the famous crema the company is known for.
The boutique is also notable because it accepts pods for Nespresso’s recycling program. Pods are divided into grounds for composting and aluminum for recycling. Be sure to ask for free recycling bags when you fill your order.
Of course, Nespresso’s full range of machines and accessories (including their nifty milk Aeroccino milk frother) are available, too.
