The Wedding Fair
When: Sunday, January 19, 2020
Where:Â BMO Centre, Stampede Park
What to expect: Cover all your bases at The Wedding Fair, a large wedding event with hundreds of wedding exhibitors. While the event covers the major things like bridal fashions, menswear, florists and invitations, you can also take care of smaller but equally important details like gift registries, wedding favours, lingerie and stag/stagette parties. There will also be two fashion shows featuring bridal and menswear fashions.
The Bash
When: Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, 2020
Where:Â Hudson, 6th Floor of The Bay Heritage Building
What to expect: Grab a cocktail and interact with the vendors to a soundtrack provided by Local DJ at this event that brings together a few dozen carefully chosen local wedding vendors. Instead of hopping from booth to booth this event is a little more immersive with the opportunity to interact with the products and serves (like that signature cocktail you are sipping on). This year’s vendors include Amborella Floral Calgary, Blush & Raven, Jungle, Silly Booth and more.
Bridal Fantasy: The Boutique Bridal Show
When: Sunday, February 9, 2020
Where: Calgary Telus Convention Centre
What to expect: Calgary’s Bridal Fantasy wedding show has made a name for itself as one of the city’s premiere wedding events. The Calgary Telus Convention Centre will be filled vendors specializing in bridal gowns, photography, hair and makeup, menswear, wedding cakes, jewellery, flowers and more. Make sure you don’t miss the two fashion shows either. Each ticket includes a gift bag with a Bridal Fantasy Wedding Planner and discounts from the show vendors.
Bridal Expo
When:Â Sunday, October 4, 2020
Where:Â BMO Centre, Stampede Park
What to expect: If you haven’t found a wedding dress yet, Bridal Expo is the place to do it. The event will feature the biggest wedding gown sale in the province. The best part? You can get them for 40 to 70 percent off. But dresses aren’t the only thing you’ll find at Bridal Expo; guests can check out more than 200 exhibitors specializing in everything from photography to hairstyling to invitations, as well as two fashion shows featuring wedding apparel for brides, bridesmaids and men. There will also be an artisan market featuring food trucks, live music and products from local artisans.
