Winner

Project A

Part gallery, part shop, Project A showcases wares made by artists from across Canada, with a special focus on highlighting new and emerging makers. Since owner Jade Ansley first launched Project A in 2015 (originally as a pop-up art sale and show), she’s gone on to work with more than 250 emerging Canadian artists, including partnering with Métis and Indigenous makers. In the space’s now permanent location in Canmore, patrons can peruse handmade goods like ceramics, jewellery, leatherworking and home and kitchen wares, as well as wall art using mixed media, photography and weaving.
