An award-winning boutique floral studio, Flowers by Janie was founded in 2011 by Janelle “Janie” Gerestein and her husband, Oscar Lima, in La Paz, Bolivia. Gerestein started in the floral industry at age 17, and has more than 23 years of experience creating floral beauty. The couple relocated to Calgary in 2012, and have been creating timeless fine art floral designs for weddings and events in Calgary and the Canadian Rockies ever since. Flowers by Janie has designed floral arrangements for more than 600 couples throughout the company’s 12 years in business, consistently creating memorable, one-of-a-kind arrangements.
