Winner

The Nines

The Nines is a place seasoned thrifters will appreciate. It’s well-organized and discerning, with fashion for all genders — plus, it offers after-hours shopping appointments so shoppers can have the racks all to themselves.

Laura Price started The Nines after losing her clothing when her house was destroyed in the 2013 floods. The disaster prompted Price and her husband, Nik Makim, to explore the art of thrifting. Now, the couple is ringing in five years of selling from their North Glenmore Park storefront.
