Founder Katja Yrjana Kohlhammer opened Crabapple in 1990 with a focus on Victorian dress styles. In 2010, the shop was purchased by two staff members, Inge Leahy and Whitney Titheridge before Titheridge took over as the sole owner in 2015. Since it’s inception, Crabapple has evolved into a destination for all types of eclectic pieces by designer brands and Canadian-owned labels such as Bano eeMee, John & Jenn and more.
