Calgary’s present identity and where the city is heading is constantly evolving. At Avenue’s 2026 Future of the City event on October 6, 2026, Calgarians explored the city’s current culture and future possibilities with insight from a wide range of community-builders, artists, members of the business community and more. It was a night filled with new perspectives, interesting ideas and constructive conversation.

Thank you to our sponsors: University of Calgary’s Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking, Wilder Institute, Oxford Properties and Strategic Group.

Here’s a look at how the night went.
