Where it is
1903, 188 15 Ave. S.W.
The location
This condo is in the Chocolate Condo Rooftop, a 19-storey building featuring 165 units with sweeping views of Calgary. Located in Victoria Park within the Beltline, the unit is also part of an area that helped shape Calgary into what it is today. In 1899, the Calgary and District Agricultural Society purchased 38 hectares of land for an exhibition ground. These exhibitions were encouraged as a way to bring people together in celebration. The area was named after Queen Victoria, the reigning monarch at the time who also supported the exhibitions, and so Victoria Park was born.
The Chocolate building was built in 2006 by Battistella Developments and brought its innovative architecture, dramatic interior spaces and stylish finishings to the area.
