If you love touring beautiful homes, don’t miss the Calgary Stampede Lotteries Rotary Dream Home across from the Nutrien Western Event Centre. Throughout Stampede, guests can take themselves on a self-guided tour of the fully furnished home to see inside (and if they want, purchase tickets to try and win it). Valued at $1.47 million, this year’s house is a four-bedroom home equipped with stunning light fixtures, a spacious mudroom featuring a built-in dog wash station, marble floors and more. The home is free to tour.
Peruse unique art at the Stampede Art Show
Explore breathtaking pieces of art created by regional and international artists at the Art Show inside the BMO Centre’s Western Oasis. Visitors are treated to a vibrant display of paintings, ceramics, woodworks, photography and more. The art is available for purchase or you can simply browse to get some inspiration for your home. While you’re there, stop by the wine garden for a glass of wine to sip on while you peruse the art, which ranges from traditional western themes to more contemporary works. Guests can also stop into the artists’ studios to meet the creators and sit in on live demonstrations.

The Market inside the BMO Centre features hundreds of vendors offering everything from perfumes, to apparel, to unique snacks. There are also several vendors offering cool home decor and art. Shop for vibrant canvas art at Evoked’s booth, which has colourful statement pieces on display to add flair in any space. The Airdrie artisan has a wide selection of coasters and serving boards available at the stand, each with its own unique design.
