Ever wonder why there’s a huge house on the Calgary Stampede grounds?

Every year, Calgary home builder Homes By Avi crafts a new Stampede Lotteries Rotary Dream Home that’s displayed on the Stampede grounds. This year is no exception, featuring a stunning $1.38 million home that will eventually reside in the Rangeview community.

Stampede attendees can buy tickets to potentially win the home (and other prizes) or just tour it for some design inspo.

This year’s home features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and offers plenty of space to spread out across 2,545 square feet. The home has a relaxing, airy atmosphere with cool features like a built-in sauna and a two-storey fireplace. The space also features artwork by Calgary artist Shawni Tolman.
