This marketplace features works by makers and designers from across Canada, including pottery, food products, jewellery, children’s toys and more.

Millarville Christmas Market

The 33rd annual Millarville Christmas market is sure to give you all the seasonal feelings. Visit the vendors set up indoors and outdoors to find baked goods and handmade gifts such as pottery, stained glass pieces, woodworking, apparel and jewellery. You can also spend the day enjoying food trucks, campfires, music and more. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

When: November 4 to 7 and 11 to 14, 2021

Crossfield Christmas Market

Visit this annual Christmas market in Crossfield to do some shopping for the holidays. This year, there will be more than 200 vendors set up across three locations: the Crossfield Community Centre, Crossfield Baptist Church and the Collicut Siding Golf Club. All venues will be operating at the same time from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. If you can, bring a donation for the food bank.

Heritage Weavers and Spinners Annual Fall Sale

The Heritage Weavers and Spinners Guild offers just one fibre arts sale per year. Browse a selection of warm, locally made garments and learn from the pros with demos done throughout the event. With temperatures dropping and Christmas around the corner, this may be the place to find a snuggly gift for someone special. It runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Christmas in the Country Art Sale

This popular market is hosted by the Leighton Art Centre and features fine artworks and crafts from over 100 local artists in the historic Leighton home. Christmas in the Country runs from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

When: November 6 to December 22, 2021

Shawnessy Christmas Craft Fair

This one-day Christmas craft fair is filling two floors with more than 30 vendors you can shop from. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

When: November 13, 2021
Where: The Shawnessy Barn, 224 Shawmeadows Rd. S.W.
Cost: Free admission with a donation to the Calgary Food Bank


Holiday Craft Fair

The Bowness Community Association will hold its annual Holiday Craft Fair across two days this year from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shop from local Bowness and Calgary artisans selling items such as Christmas cards, holiday decorations, clothing and even books by local authors. More details will be released closer to the event date.

Peak to Prairie Market

The second annual Peak to Prairie market will feature local vendors and makers offering baby items, clothing, accessories, decor and more curated gift options. This market runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Cost: Tickets will be available closer to event date


Art Market Arts and Craft Sale

Started in 1987, the Art Market has been going for more than 30 years, bringing more than 200 artisans and artists together for one of Calgary’s biggest craft and art sales. This year will include evening bar service and live music to put you in a shopping mood.

When: November 18 to 21

Calgary Christmas Market

The Calgary Farmers’ Market may be just the spot to get all your holiday shopping done this year. Not only can you check out what all the farmers’ market vendors are offering for the holidays, but there will also be a dozen additional vendors just for the Christmas market. There will also be special events like photos with Santa, Mrs. Claus and even the Grinch.

Auburn House Christmas Craft and Marketplace

Browse a variety of vendors for uniquely handmade products, just in time for the holiday season. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

New Brighton’s Annual Christmas Market

Get your holiday shopping done at this market by the New Brighton Residents Association, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 20. Browse the wares of indoor and outdoor exhibitors for all of your Christmas needs.

Century Hall Christmas Market

This year, the Cranston Residents Association will host its annual Christmas Market at Cranston Century Hall. The market is free to check out and will feature local vendors and a kid’s market. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Crafts and Christmas Baking Sale

Come to this annual Christmas market and you’ll find artisans selling unique crafts and gifts such as candles, pottery and handmade wood products. There will also be a huge bake table where you can buy homemade jams, jellies and baked goods. Some vendors will have their items displayed on the Westminster Church website, with options for online purchase and curbside pickup. This market runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lake Bonavista Christmas Craft Fair

This craft fair sells a range of products created by local artisans, including knitting and paper products. In the multi-purpose room, you’ll also find items that aren’t from crafters, like Pampered Chef and Tupperware. The market runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Cochrane Artisan Christmas Market

The annual Cochrane Artisan Christmas Market is happening on two Saturdays and is a great option for grabbing gifts and holiday needs. There will be over 45 artisan vendors selling hand-crafted giftware. This market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

AuArts SA Show + Sale

This year, the AUArts Students’ Association is hosting a virtual show and sale to highlight the impressive work of its artists. Expect ceramics, digital prints, mixed media, jewellery, paintings, sculptures and more.

Under $100 Art Show

This year is the 14th annual Under $100 Art Show hosted by Art Spot Calgary. The group exhibition and sale displays art under $100 from local artists, helping them sell their wares and helping buyers purchase affordable, original art. The market includes a variety of items including paintings, photography, pottery, glassware, jewelry, clothing, woodwork, leatherwork, sculptures and more. This market runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Wildflower Art Salon and Sale

The Wildflower Arts Centre is hosting its 11th annual art salon and sale that will feature 20 professional Calgary-based artists. The art sale includes ceramics, paintings, drawings, prints, textiles and more. This sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Market Collective

Market Collective returns for two weekends in December with more than 170 vendors each time. In addition to shopping for local products, guests can take part in workshops, listen to live music, order food and more.

Cost: $6 weekend admission, free for children under 12


Christmas at the Nation

Shop from 60+ talented vendors at this new market, including Come Thunder Woman Designs, Angel Mae Pottery, Eagle Spirit Gifts and more. Guests can also check out activities like drop-in outdoor skating and food trucks. The market runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

When: December 11 to 12, 2021

Heritage Christmas Market

If you missed the Heritage Fall Market in October, you’re in luck. With over 65 artisans, crafters and vendors, there will be tons of variety for your gift-giving list at the Christmas edition. The market runs from Saturday at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ujamaa Grandmas Bags, Babies and Beyond

Ujamaa Grandmas holds its annual fall sale in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation, which supports organizations dedicated to helping people in Africa who are affected by HIV and AIDS. The market sells handmade purses, accessories, decor items and toys. If you go home with nothing else, get a felted bag — it’s what the group is known for. Note that only debit and credit transactions will be accepted at this event. The event runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Palette Fine Art Show and Sale

Beacon Original Art Annual Fall Exhibition and Sale

Beacon Original Art is holding its annual fall art sale where local artists display and sell their paintings, photography, ceramics, sculptures and more. Different artists will appear each day, so don’t miss the chance to meet your favourites. The art sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Bearspaw Fall & Christmas Market

This market has offered fall and Christmas goodies to the community for the last 39 years. There will be over 100 vendors on site this year. It runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Fibre Shindig

Talented Alberta fibre artisans will be showcased at this market, featuring hand-dyed yarn, spinning fibre, felting, weaving, beads, buttons, jewellery and lots more. Admission includes a raffle ticket for door prizes provided by vendors. Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Heritage Fall Market

Make a day of it and take a drive through the countryside to check out the Heritage Fall Market. Once there, you can peruse more than 65 artisans and custom crafters and purchase some unique gifts. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. There will be a similar market in December as well.
