How would you describe your personal style?

Karsten: “I draw inspiration from street style and fashion shows, and I’m always looking for unique ways to wear pieces. Style is an art form that’s constantly evolving, and I like to keep up with that.”

Why is expressing personal style important?

Mackenzie: “If you’re just having fun with it and being yourself, I think colours and types of fits can really change the way you’re perceived as well as the way you feel. It’s a really good way to express yourself, and for people to get to know you.”

How does your style affect how you show up at work versus outside of work?

Mackenzie: “The energy business is very conservative. When I first graduated, I was worried about wearing stuff that was a little bit more colorful, louder and just different. I found out really quickly that the people I work with might not wear the same outfits as me, but it was appreciated.”

Karsten: “Outside of work, I tend to experiment more, and that experimentation gives me ideas for my outfits at work. If something outside of work is well-received, then I’ll find ways to bring that into work in a creative way.”
