If you are in the downtown area and looking to shop for treasures, try the pop-up store at Olds College Calgary Campus. The store is in the south tower of Bow Valley College and has gently used, women’s clothing – including designer dresses, watches and handbags – waiting for you to search through.
The money from sales at the pop-up store goes to Women In Need Society (WINS), a local, charitable, not-for profit. WINS started in 1992 as a single thrift store and now has four shops across the city, supporting women and families.
The pop-up is open until Friday, October 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
